Evelyn Macko has been awarded a number of RTNDA and Toronto Police Association Awards.

She became the first woman on air in the Niagara Peninsula and later joined CFTR's news staff, where she quickly moved from the afternoon to the morning spot, breaking new ground as the first female news announcer on morning radio in Toronto.

Evelyn contributed to the development of 680 News in 1993. She has worked as anchor/editor for Q107 and assisted in AM 640 transitions into Talk 640, which later evolved into MOJO Radio.

Currently she shares morning anchor duties on NEWSTALK1010, with award-winning broadcaster Dave Agar, l on Moore in the Morning.

Evelyn has also been the voice of the televised Gemini Awards, the NHL Awards, "It's always something", commercials, and other voice-over work.
