- Roger McTair was nominated for a Gemini for his directorial efforts in 'Journey to Justice', for best documentary. He was also nominated for a Genie and won a variety of awards for his direction of, 'It's Not An Illness'. His documentary, 'Home to Buxton' has been aired on PBS, TVO, CBC & Vision-TV. Mr. McTair has had his short stories published & broadcast in the BBC World Service and was a finalist in the Descant National Novella Contest. He wrote the Opinions Page for the Toronto Star while freelancing for newspapers & magazines.

- Achieved a BA from Ryerson as well as a Certificate in Television Production. Mr. McTair has attended workshops at the Summer Institute of Film & Television in Maine, the National Film Board, Tarragon Theatre, ACTRA with Claude Jutra, Ryerson, Triune Drama and Story with Robert McKee.
