3D Animation (DAN)
This program is designed to give each student a solid understanding of the modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, and rendering capabilities of MAYA, with a particular emphasis on developing problem-solving skills.
Acting for Camera and Voice (ACV)
The program provides extensive studio experience in acting, movement, voice, acting-for-camera and voice-over acting. The training offers a unique blend of a film/television and voice acting focus, supported by the foundation of necessary stage techniques.
Animation Arts (ANI)
This six semester diploma program is designed to give the student skills necessary to succeed in both the traditional and computer animation production industry.
Art Fundamentals (AFD)
This intensive learn-to-draw, foundation art training program is designed to act as the first stop in the development of today's artist.
Broadcasting - Radio (RTVR)
This program offers professional training in radio production, presentation skills, radio announcing, radio station disc jockey, music programming, radio script writing, radio broadcasting and sales.
Broadcasting - Television (RTVT)
The aim of this program is to give students a high degree of competency that will enable them to begin careers within the broadcast and video production industry.
Creative Advertising (CAB)
This program combines a broad balance curriculum of practical experience, while demonstrating advertising theory, consumer behaviour, strategic planning, advertising design/layout, desktop publishing, and professional time management and presentation skills.
Digital Media Arts (DMA)
This program is specifically directed toward the design, implementation and management of digital graphics and audio for interactive multimedia applications, including the internet.
Documentary Filmmaking Institute (DFI)
This program is designed to equip students with the critical and practical skills to work in the television and film industry as producers and directors of documentary film and non-fiction (reality) television.
Event and Media Production (CMP)
This program will teach students how to plan live events, produce corporate videos and websites, create training resources and other corporate communication materials.
Game Art and Animation (GAM)
This program is focused on giving students the skills needed to be artists and designers for the video game industry, including character and environmental design and animation that are integrated into games.
Graphic Design (GRA)
This program focuses on the creative and strategic aspects of designing grpahic materials. Attention is paid to applications within the corporate, publications and advertising design contexts, to the production of graphic materials via computer-assisted design.
Independent Digital Photography (IDP)
In this program students will build a strong portfolio of photographic and illustrated images for a wide range of practical business applications.
Independent Illustration (ILU)
In this program students will develop skills in the traditional artistic realm of wet and dry media (drawing, painting, mixed media and sculpture), as well as digitally for the creation and final output of the illustration.
Independent Music Production (IMP)
This unique, innovative and intensive program is designed to give the student a strong foundation in the fundamentals of music recording, the music business, and performance.
Journalism (JBC)
This program offers professional training in radio, television and new media journalism skills.
Journalism Broadcast Summer Institute (BJC)
The aim of this intensive program is to give students a high degree of competency and advanced theoretical and practical knowledge to be able to obtain entry-level reporting, hosting, anchoring, videographer, writing, researching, etc. positions in television, radio, cable news, public affairs and information programs.
Media and Communications Fundamentals (MFD)
This thorough program provides students with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of writing, communications, and visual media.
Visual Effects for Film and Television (VFT)
This program is designed to introduce students to the various tools and techniques used to create visual effects for film and television.
